  • A partir de ese momento y principalmente en Estados Unidos, el realismo mágico en pintura comienza a desarrollarse y expandirse aún más con autores destacados entre 1930 y 1950 como Bettina Shaw-Lawrence, Paul Cadmus, Ivan Albright, Philip Evergood, George Tooker, Rico y Andrew Wyeth.
  • Todos ellos aplican claramente la definición que Roth dio al realismo mágico: Está anclado en la vida cotidiana, pero tiene matices de fantasía o maravilla.
